The case

An IT outstaffing company needed to hire more than 20 professionals across Europe but lacked the resources to establish multiple local entities. Acvian’s EOR solution provided compliant employment, expert guidance on labor laws, and on-site support for every hire. The company successfully expanded operations and now enjoys ongoing growth across 6 countries, with 5 more in progress.

The challenge

An IT outstaffing company needed to hire over 20 professionals for a project. Compliant employment was a must – they were not looking for freelancers/contractors. Suitable candidates were found in various European locations and had to be legally united as a team. The employer wasn’t legally present in the countries of their residence, and there was a considerable difference in time zones between the headquarters and the new hires, making onboarding even more challenging.

The solution

Acvian offered the EOR (Employer of Record) solution to the outstaffing company and its end client. We hired the project team across multiple European locations, including those with time differences. The client received our expert consultation on local labor laws in each of these destinations, and every employee benefited from on-site support.

The outcome

The client entered multiple European markets and launched the project within a short timeframe. Acvian currently supports the company in 6 countries, with 5 more in the pipeline, and ensures ongoing compliance and employee satisfaction.

Why is EOR a lucrative solution for international remote hiring?

Industries like IT are becoming increasingly location-independent, and companies are competing for the most skilled and cost-efficient talent in regions like Eastern and Southeastern Europe. However, finding qualified remote candidates is half the battle: to hire them legally in their countries of residence, you either need to have a local entity (a long and costly process that is not feasible unless you are building a huge team in each specific country) or find a mediator.

With Acvian as your EOR provider, there’s no need to open a local office, branch, or register your company abroad. Your remote employee will be hired in compliance with local labor laws on your behalf. We also handle payroll and compliance, making onboarding and other administrative procedures much easier for both you and the employee.

Old client here! Been collaborating with Acvian for 2 years and employed people in 12 countries with their help and saved a lot of resources. Didn’t have such a positive experience with our previous PEO provider. Very pleased with the quality of service and expertise Acvian offers.

Firstly, let me describe the project: our company was a client for 6 months and hired a local worker (hourly contractor) with EOR (which we never used before). The employment process was much faster than we expected, for the duration of the project all was punctual, no problems, with a polite way of communication.

We aimed to enter a new EU market and decided to use an employer of record service before opening our own entity. Acvian helped us with staff hiring, employment contracts and payroll processing.
