A company needed to onboard a large group of employees simultaneously in the Czech Republic. Acvian onboarded 18 employees at once via the EOR model, accompanied them to mandatory medical checkups, and offered tax-related consultations for non-EU nationals.
Project duration: 2022 - ongoing
Employees onboarded: 18
As soon as Acvian opened its own entity in the Czech Republic, we received a request from a client to onboard a team of 18 people at once. The challenge was not only the scale of simultaneous onboarding but also the need for support with mandatory medical checkups. In addition, since the majority of the team were non-EU nationals, they required tailored support with their income tax obligations, including guidance on annual declarations within the Czech system.
Acvian hired the team via the EOR (Employer of Record) model and coordinated the entire process by securing a trusted medical center, arranging a group appointment, and accompanying the employees on-site with the help of our Czech-speaking experts. Moreover, each team member received individual tax consultations to help them integrate smoothly into the Czech labor and tax framework.
All 18 employees were onboarded efficiently, with medical and tax requirements handled without delays.
As your EOR provider, Acvian acts as a local mediator at all stages of the onboarding process, handling tasks such as medical examinations, payroll, and taxes. We have an efficient coordination system that connects the entire team to all required authorities at once, instead of handling each case separately through in-house HR.
For companies new to the country, this avoids delays and mistakes that often come from not knowing the intricacies of local processes. With Acvian’s on-site experts, employees receive direct guidance, while the client enjoys a smooth and compliant start.
